Cancellation Policy, House Rules, and Terms and Conditions
Our room rates include breakfast & tourist tax, per room per night with a minimum stay of three nights. For stays of one or two nights, a short-stay surcharge will be added. If you wish to forgo breakfast, a deduction of 6€ per person/night will be made.
Upon reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total price is due.
Rooms are usually available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival (please let us know if you arrive earlier). On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the rooms by 10:00 am.
We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the house and on the balconies. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area outside the house.
Pets are welcome (charged at 10€ to 20€ per night). However, out of consideration for other guests, they are not allowed in the breakfast room.
We appreciate if you leave your outdoor shoes in the entrance area and walk around the house in socks or indoor shoes (slippers are provided). This is optional, not mandatory.
To ensure everyone’s relaxation, we kindly request quietness between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, if possible refrain from showering during this time, and when embarking on early mountain hikes, please only wear your hiking boots in the entrance area. Thank you.
“We don’t have Wi-Fi… but we do have a beautiful view and friendly staff.” (Author unknown)
It is part of our philosophy that we do not have Wi-Fi as it disturbs relaxation. However, there is a free hotspot nearby at the tourist information – just a two-minute walk away.
Unexpected events can occur. However, it is unfortunate for everyone and a financial loss for us if someone does not show up and the rooms remain vacant while others would have liked to come. Please inform us in writing in due time if necessary! If you are unable to arrive for a booked stay or have to cancel early, cancellation fees may apply according to the German Civil Code:
- up to 21 days before the arrival date: no cancellation fees
- thereafter, 80% of the agreed accommodation fee (unless we are able to re-rent the room)
To minimize potential losses, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance:
